Diplom-thesis at the Friedrich Miescher Laboratory (FML) of the Max Planck Society (Tübingen, Germany) in the Machine Learning in Biology (MLB) group of Dr. Gunnar Rätsch. The thesis was entitled "Improving Gene Finding Accuracy with Tiling Array and RNA-Seq Data".

Advanced study period (Hauptstudium) in bioinformatics in Tübingen with courses mainly in the fields machine learning, randomized algorithms, algorithms in bioinformatics and neuro biology.
